While i was playing minecraft there was this one thing i love to use. It is called Ventrilo. It is a voice chat system and i really like it, i think many users would love to chat with other users while editing. It costs a small amount of money but i think it would benefit the wikihow in genral. I have seen @jackherrick saying that he loves to chat with others so i think this woukd be great! The link is here if you want to check it out http://www.ventrilo.com/index.php

We have IRC, we have the forums, and we can even have messages fly back and forth over the talk pages…Oh yeah, not to mention there’s even been a few talks with users over Google+ and some others. Why would this site need yet another chat program to control?

Yup. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I think it sounds like a great idea. Perhaps we could compromise and find some form of free voice chat?

I don’t see any problem with close friends (or just people wanting to “chat”) going there and chatting, so long as it isn’t an official wikiHow chat place. It’s just a place to chat. And people from wH can use it, so long as they know that.:stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly Chris said exactly what was on my mind with this. We already have occasional Tinychats/Google+ hangouts, and the IRC room is basically always bustling. We have no shortage of chat capabilities.
