I finally reached 300 contributions and I’m going for the title of a NAB. I’ve decided that my time on wikiHow (and how much I enjoy being part of it) can be put toward the community a bit more. I still make a few mistakes, but I’ve been studying the critical guides for the test for some time while I hit 300. I got a 22/23 on the first test, or a 96%:slight_smile:Do any New Article Boosters have any tips they can share? I’d really appreciate them. Thank you!

If I could offer some advice, I’d suggest waiting for a little more. You’ll feel a lot more confident one you feel you are ready instead of just meeting the bare minimum :). Don’t worry about making mistakes. We all do, and that’s how we learn. Thanks a lot for trying to become a new article booster! Its great that you’re trying to help the website in new ways. We all would love some help clearing out that nasty backlog:slight_smile:

The http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Newpages could be your friend more than you think, for a starters point:wink:I have Microsoft Word open so I can copy/paste articles, copyedit in there, and then copy/paste them back into the editing screen.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a New Article Booster, @JustChristina ! Cleaning some articles in http://www.wikihow.com/Category:Copyedit and http://www.wikihow.com/Category:Format could be helpful in achieving Booster status (since NAB requires the ability to copyedit and format articles). If you need any more help, please leave me a talk page note. I would be happy to offer you tips that could be of help, as well as strategies that could be helpful.

Thank you, all!

No problem! It is my pleasure to assist you.
