Does anybody experience problems with quick edit in patrolling, and publishing edited article?? I did a really good edit and when I pressed Publish I got “Oops… wikiHow is temporary offline”. My edits were all gone, and so was the article. I checked my Contributions, thought I have it there, … nope, not a trace. Another example of my frustration tonight was: I undid a bad edit by a vandal, also pressed Publish and got the same message as above (about “offline”). This time the article stayed and I pressed Publish again… it took forever to publish.

I have only been getting offline usually when I click on my user page link, and sometimes , it takes a long time to load when I click on buttons, links, and publish articles. I reported a bug about this in bug reports and Anna replied saying that she noticed some slowness too today.

Hi @Hailey Girges, At least you did not lose any edits as I did. It was quite frustrating. I am moving this thread to “Bug” forum.

It takes forever loading here :c

Thanks for moving this to Bugs, Laura. I’m sorry about your lost edit - that must have been frustrating! What bad timing for gnomes:confused:I did hit gnomes once today but at the moment as I edit things are okay, so hopefully we’re back to smoother sailing. I’ll check in with the engineers about it, though. Thanks for the heads-up!

There isn’t much slowness for me now, and I haven’t seen the Gnomes.

Hi @Anna ,:slight_smile:you are welcome. And thank YOU for taking care of it for us. When it takes forever to accomplish something, even some little things, it’s extremely annoying. Worse if to lose what we just worked hard on, for quite some time.
