Hey everyone. You may notice that I am not on wikiHow as often as I was a few years ago. It’s because I don’t really have that much time and I have to focus on my college classes. And I love using Zoom to do them.
But since I haven’t seen a big number of recent changes that haven’t been patrolled in a while, I figured out I want to do other things. I noticed that tips patrol requires becoming a new article booster or admin and I wonder why, as I always used to patrol tips. Any reason?
This actually makes me want to become a new article booster and I hope I can become one soon, probably this summer.
I think the reason for this configuration change is because of the number of low-quality tips published in Tips patrol. Of course, I probably do not have the full answer, but some tips published are unhelpful.
I remember the number of tips I would end up rolling back in RC patrol because they were super unhelpful. We do not want readers to hear anything that is already covered in the article.
EDIT: I was completely wrong. There is a debate as to whether Tips patrol should be kept or not. The goal is to bring back editing to mobile, so Tips patrol would be redundant.
Fair enough. That’s what I was thinking. And this is actually a good idea.
