A few days before I became a booster a few weeks ago, I visited the article “ http://www.wikihow.com/Do-New-Article-Boost/ ” I read it. However, I got thinking, the term Do really isn’t the best word to use. I added a title template(should be changed to “Use wikiHow’s New Article Boost App”) for a revised title that would better suit the article. And later left a message on it’s discussion page why I feel the way I do. Before you decide to do anything, can all please visit and read these items. I really do feel it should be changed. Here’s the message I posted as to why: “I feel Do, as part of the action verb isn’t correct English(in any English form it can be translated to). Use is a better form of an action verb. I’ve requested a title change. I also asked to add the location of the app, to better describe it’s location, in the weird case, some other site has the same named item.” I really, surely feel this would be better for the good of the article. So many new boosters read it, and the term do isn’t really the best verb to use in this situation. Please take everything into consideration, and let’s see what we come up with. There could be SOMETHING I’m missing. I know the link Krystle uses to send people to it, would, in turn be redirected to the new title, but rather than that, I’d like to hear others’ viewpoints on this term(s) on the current title.

That does sound like a more ‘correct’ article title.

Yeah, or it could be something like ‘Boost New Article’ or ‘Boost New Article With the New Article Boost App’

The only problem with that is that title @CudlyCake is that it repeats.

How about ‘Boost New Articles With the NAB App’ or simply just ‘Use The New Article Boost App’

That’s what he was originally suggesting. I’m in full support. I always did think “Do New Article Boost” sounded weird.

Should I make the title change to “Use wikiHow’s New Article Boost App” now or wait a while?

Although things look good, lets wait a little while. There might be some opposition, who havent seen this post yet, @Krazycommando .

And besides, if everything turns out right, ill be kind and properly make the move.

Alright, sounds good to me:slight_smile:

Hmmm. What about “How to Use New Article Boost”?

Since there was no real opposition, the title was just now changed to “Use the wikiHow New Article Boost App” http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Use-the-wikiHow-New-Article-Boost-App&diff=prev&oldid=9297281

Why “app”?

To the end user, it doesnt seem as to big to call it a piece of software, yet, its not really big enough to be called an Application. And think in trms of that iOS/Android device, the software that those apps use are called apps and they just as big as what the end user sees in NAB. Its a personal preference, but in English, it’s not really complete to only explain that title without that word, when you add the incorporated word(for the reasons given in the original discussion page message.)
