Hey all,

I noticed there was a slight design change to the community Q&A section - it looks pretty neat!

I tried editing the questions, but there was no “Edit” button next to each question like there used to be.

When I press “Edit” next to the Community Q&A header, it only changes to “Done Editing”, but there’s no way for me to edit the questions below. I’ve tried clicking the question and answer but neither allow me to edit them.

Hope this can be looked into soon:slight_smile:

Hey @99sobi - I’m out and about and can’t check all the permission possibilities right now, but in general, the functioning here shouldn’t have changed: you still have to click ‘Edit’ at the top right of the section and then a smaller ‘Edit’ link appears next to each of the Q&As. Click the Edit link on the one you want to edit and it should turn into the familiar editing fields. I’ve confirmed this from my account, and think it’s working in general because other folks have been editing Q&A since the section redesign… buuut I haven’t checked from other test accounts yet, so if it doesn’t work for you when you click both edit links, let me know and I’ll dig further into it and see if there’s some kind of permissions issue. Thanks!

@Anna , I just took a look at this and the smaller Edit button for all individual Q&As has disappeared. It makes it impossible to change anything.

Ah ok, thanks for testing! The editing I’ve seen must have been from the fixed flag tool, or maybe they made more engineering changes on Friday… or maybe someone had a cached version of the page up or something weird like that. Anywho, I will poke around and put together a bug report for the devs based on which user rights it’s working for and not. I appreciate the heads-up and am sure it’ll be a quick fix!

Edit to add: Also @99sobi Sorry, I totally speed-read your first post and missed the line where you had already mentioned the second edit link. My apologies! I thought you were shooting for editing right after you hit the section button. But have confirmed there’s something weird about the permissions right now so have filed a bug. Cheers for the heads-up!

Ok this should be fixed now @99sobi and @Galactic-Radiance . Thanks again for the heads-up and testing!
