I get some of my ideas from YouTube videos for my articles. Is that copyright, or is it only for copied websites and photos?

Like written text for an article, you will need to put everything into your own words and ideas as well as properly sourcing the original creator (with their name and link).

I do put it in my own words, but I haven’t pit the sources in yet, but I will! Thanks!

This is a great source of content if used correctly, and can allow a contributor to create a very good article without having a lot of knowledge or experience with a subject on thier own. The main thing is to pay careful attention to the instructions provided in the video, and then rewrite the information in appropriate ‘‘How to’’ steps in your own words. Our family uses youtube videos for projects pretty often, and usually with good results.

Exactly. Actually, I think I wrote an article to help with that. (since I was doing it too). http://www.wikihow.com/Use-YouTube-for-wikiHow-Article-Ideas
