Currently, I am learning Hebrew.

Shalom, wikiHow! Ani lomedet Ivrit.

Still can’t find a way to get Hebrew script on my mac!

There are probably some websites with online keyboards to help with that…

I am learning, or at least trying to learn: Russian, Spanish, and Cantonese. Of course, technically I am still learning English, as with all of us :)

English (even though it is my native language) and French. I already know a bit of German and Italian from my favourite operas.

Ooh, I should add that English is technically not my first language…

This past semester, I’ve been learning ASL (American Sign Languge)

I can’t learn a second language,… my English vocabulary is bad enough as it is, cuz of my Autism and other problems… it’s practically impossible to teach me a new language, cuz I will just forget the instant i learn it and even I do manage to remember… pronouncing things is a whole different challenge since I have troubles with pronunciations and I don’t want to offend anybody if I do…

Sooo I gave up on trying to learn another language. Even sign language… cuz i can never remember anything!

ASL and Chinese. When one is too depressing I switch and have fun with the other again:slight_smile:

French! It’s a lovely language. I also have relatives that are French and that speak it fluently.

@Elias-Eberhagen Depressing in what sense? Like there are some sad signs you don’t like in ASL? And I left a message on your talk page:  https://www.wikihow.com/User_talk:Elias-Eberhagen

@WarriorOfEden I’m so sorry! I have a hard time learning languages too, but not that hard:frowning:

@Elias-Eberhagen I know exactly what you mean! That is why I am learning two common languages; Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese, rather than just Chinese. (Chinese is actually a lot harder than English, to anyone who is wondering, despite the four different tones and many different words).

@TheYoungWriter I am learning Cantonese, with 6 tones! Good luck with your language learning:slight_smile:It can be easy to mix up the tones, and each word is totally different if you mess it up…

I’m learning English and French (because those are the most common languages in my corner of the world).

I’ve also tried Latin, German, Italian, Korean and BSL, but most of those were via school and I don’t take any of those classes anymore so I probably only know two words (generous estimate) of each.

Wow, impressive!I know, right?

Thanks, right back at you!

@Zodiaw , that is still really cool!

@TheYoungWriter Here’s a tongue twister using all the tones, I think. I can understand it…but it’s crazy!

whoa!

thanks @Caeiia !

@Caeiia @TheYoungWriter Language learning can be hard & frustrating, but a very, very worthy task and skill. I took two years of Spanish and know French. Enjoy the experience and don’t let the bumps in the road stop you. Keep going! You can do this!:slight_smile:

@Adelaide Thanks for the encouragement! It is quite difficult but it feels great even when you know two words.

spanish

@Adelaide two thumbs up!

Cool, @Abdallah Ghoneim! Spanish is fun.

I know English and Arabic… Now, I am trying to learn Spanish…

English and Japanese. I’m also passively picking up on Russian, but that’s because I read too much fanfition.
