I have been subscribed to the wikiHow Herald for awhile, and the last one I got was on March 4. Where is the wikiHow Herald?

It doesn’t have a main editor right now:slight_smile:

What’s the Wikihow herald?

WikiHow’s newspaper.

It’s been a way for a while. I’m trying to work with at @Rangers31 to get it going again. That is, when I get around to answering his email… Anyway. It should hopefully be back soon.

I was wanting to ask to write for it - But I think Eric, Rangers and SudoKing do it? June Days

If the Herald’s main editors have other commitments or would prefer to ‘take a backseat’, why don’t they take people as their interns? I’m sure that there are people who would be willing to help out with the Herald, so the main editors could show them the ropes of how the Herald works, etc. This would allow some users that really love the Herald to help out with it, and allow the current editors to take a break or do something less demanding if they so choose. Kind of a ‘passing of the torch’ thing. Opinions?

@June-Days Why don’t you send a message to Rangers31. You can ask if he wants to get started again. Just talking about this reminds me, I’m going to email Matt right now…

Pink Star, good idea. KernelPone, sure! He’s on IRC at nighttimes, I’ll ping him then if he’s on. June Days

Intern? For a newspaper? Awesome! I love journalism, so if they need help, I would love to!

Haha, I just saw this. So, here’s the deal. I put out the Herald when I have the time. Recently I haven’t really had the time. I am the main editor of the Herald, and I work with SudoKing to put it out, using HeraldBot. Don’t worry, we’ll get the Herald out sooner than later, just don’t expect it as often as when Eric ran it.

If you’re interested, send me a talkpage message and I’ll give you some instructions.

I’m interested in joining, but I’ll doubt I’ll have much wikiTime on the weekdays anymore:wink:
