irc.wikihow.com hasn’t worked in years, AFAIK. http://webchat.freenode.net/ is the actual link for IRC. You would need to input #wikiHow in the Channel box.

Wat. Years? It’s worked fine for me for the past year and a half (of course, I only enter through Webchat now; since I am in other channels in the network). I suspect this change happened in the last 4 months when we retired our old development server. We’d prefer not to host this on our new development server because of security implications.
