What are some tips to make a blog successful?
It's important to know your audience, know the reason you're doing it, and then set up best practices. One best practice may be to have a template so you can remember to write a meta description, intro, three bodies of content, a conclusion, and keywords anywhere from five to six times throughout the article itself. Also, make sure that the title is optimized with that keyword. Make sure there's a keyword strategy based on current trends or common questions. Then implement a backlink strategy to either other content on your website or any collaborators or other sites. Google also helps with ranking when there's consistency, so find a schedule that works for you.

Is a website a good idea for someone who is trying to get started on social media?
Yes, because it allows you to empower somebody to make a decision about you or your product. It's a unified piece that makes you look put together, where you can say, "Here's who I am. This is what I've done. Here are some links that you can look at." It's another way to distinguish yourself and hook somebody. Social media is great, but it's not always the best to convey a long-form message.
