The first recipe for a lasagna-type dish was found to be from a British cookbook in the 14th century. Therefore, Italians were not the first ones to come up with the popular dish as believed.
A man in New York owned a plane, but was not allowed to fly it, because the compass and communication system were broken. The man was so angry, he decided to fly to California just to prove a point. Engineers were flabbergasted when he flew east rather than west ! When he landed in Ireland, he realized what had happened.
How can something be "new" and "improved"? If it's new, what was it improving on?
