Engaging content typically does one (or more) of the following: tells a story, solves a problem, sparks emotion, or teaches something new. The key is knowing your audience and delivering content they genuinely care about.

To find unique topics, start by:
  • Noticing what you wish existed
  • Answering common questions in your niche
  • Putting your personal spin on trending topics
How do people actually make money on Youtube?
My biggest advice to anyone starting a YouTube channel is to pick a niche . Choose a topic you’re passionate about and that has an audience. Some examples are tech reviews, fitness, finance, or entertainment.

Then make sure you:
  • Upload videos on a regular basis to help build an audience.
  • Optimize for SEO by using relevant keywords in your video titles, descriptions, and tags.
  • Engage with your audience by replying to comments, asking questions in videos, and encouraging viewers to subscribe.
  • Leverage YouTube Shorts to help grow your audience faster and drive traffic to longer videos.
  • Share your videos on other platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and X to attract more viewers.
  • Improve video quality as you're able to by using a decent camera, good lighting, and clear audio.
  • Watch what's trending and create content around those trending topics to get more visibility.

To make money on YouTube, there are a couple of different avenues:
  • Apply for the YouTube Partner Program.
  • Use affiliate marketing.
  • Offer memberships and exclusive content.
  • Sell merch or special services on YouTube Shopping or third-party sites.

And then just be patient and adapt . Making money on YouTube takes time, so stay consistent and adjust your strategy based on how your analytics are looking.
