You can use Discord markdown tags whether you're using the desktop app, website, or mobile app. Here's how to use Discord hyperlink on Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, and iPad devices.

Sending Hyperlinks on Discord

To hyperlink a website on Discord, use this format: [visibletexthere](https://linkhere) . Send the message to see your embedded hyperlink along with an embedded preview.

  1. You can send a hyperlink in any Discord channel or message. You can find your list of servers in the left panel.
    • If you don't see your Direct Messages, click the Discord icon in the top-left corner (desktop) or tap the textbox icon in the top-left corner (mobile).
  2. The text encased in [brackets] will be the text shown. The text encased in (parentheses) will be the link text.
