  • Question
Why cant I use the blender anymore after I blend graphite?
    T. Chinsen
    Top Answerer
Th fine graphite residue in the blender is difficult to remove completely. Anything processed after the graphite will pick up the residual particles. Any food item may end up with a graphite flavor, as the fine particles with behave like salt.
  • Question
What is graphene used for after it is made?
    Snakey006550
    Top Answerer
Graphene is useful in electronics for faster devices, in batteries for improved energy storage, and in materials to enhance strength and reduce weight. It is also excellent for water filtration and biomedical applications such as sensors and drug delivery. Its strength and conductivity make it valuable in many technologies.
  • Question
Can borophene be made using the same process as graphene?
    Snakey006550
    Top Answerer
No, borophene is made in a different way. Instead of exfoliating layers, borophene is created by depositing boron atoms onto a metal surface at a high temperature using chemical vapor deposition. It doesn’t occur naturally like graphene.
  • Question
What practical uses does this type of unrefined graphene have, if any?
    Snakey006550
    Top Answerer
Unrefined graphene can be used for conductive inks, strengthening materials, electromagnetic shielding, basic batteries, or lab research. It works well where high purity isn't essential.
  • Question
How do I properly dispose of graphene? Is it safe to rinse it down the sink?
    Snakey006550
    Top Answerer
Do not rinse graphene down the sink, as it may harm the environment. Place it in a labeled container and follow local rules for chemical or hazardous waste disposal.
