  • Question
Is this different from soccer on the grass?
    Community Answer
Indoor soccer is a little different from regular soccer - indoor soccer has walls on the outside of the field, and sometimes the nets and fields are smaller. You can bounce the ball off the walls to get around a defender. Also, almost all indoor soccer fields have artificial grass, however only some outdoor fields have artificial grass.
  • Question
Is there a way to play without the right shoes and equipment, and without a team?
    Community Answer
You should have the right equipment if you want to play soccer. Cleats and a ball to practice with should be all you need if you're just starting out. Look for local teams you might be able to play on.
  • Question
Why is soccer played with 11 people?
    Community Answer
Because 11 is the perfect amount of people with the average field. If there were not enough players, it would be hard to spread the field and the players would get tired really quick. If there were too many players, then the field would get crowded and it would be hard to play on.
  • Question
Does the other team get a penalty kick or a free kick if you kick the ball, and the ball hits the net?

    Community Answer
If the ball hits the net during normal play without any foul or rule violation, it doesn't result in a penalty or free kick. But if you kick the ball in a way that causes a foul (like a handball or offside), the other team could get a free kick or penalty depending on where the foul occurred.
