Believe it or not, isopropyl alcohol makes a phenomenal deodorant! It’s naturally antibacterial, so the alcohol kills off all kinds of germs and bugs that can cause underarms to smell. On top of that, it’s super cheap compared to commercial deodorants. In this article, we’ll show you how to use alcohol as a deodorant.

Buy a bottle of 99% isopropyl alcohol.

You can purchase isopropyl alcohol at a pharmacy or corner store. Any brand should work just fine for this.
- Before you go any further, do a spot test on your skin to confirm you won’t have any adverse reactions.

Pour the alcohol directly into a spray bottle.

It’s hard to apply the alcohol straight from the bottle, so fill a small spray bottle to contain your deodorant.

Spray each underarm with the alcohol.

This should keep your underarms smelling fresh. Reapply the alcohol whenever you feel like you need a little refreshing.
