If your Apple Watch keeps reminding you to breathe, don’t panic—that’s a feature of Breathe, the new mindfulness app that comes with watchOS 3. When you need to relax, launch Breathe and breathe deeply along with the animation. You can also customize the exercises, check your stats, and change the frequency of those reminders.

-
Inhale deeply as the round animation expands. The watch will also tap your wrist continuously you inhale, which is helpful if you’re visually impaired or want to close your eyes.
- One full breath lasts about 7 seconds by default, but you can change that in “My Watch” on your iPhone .
-
Exhale slowly as the animation shrinks. The tapping stops during your exhale.
-
Breathe until the watch taps your wrist twice and chimes. When the exercise is complete, you’ll see the Summary screen, which displays the amount of breathing you've completed today, as well as your heart rate.Advertisement
