Banana Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
* 4 ripe bananas
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup whole milk
* 3/4 cup granulated sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Peel the bananas and slice them into small pieces. Place them in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
In a large saucepan, combine the banana puree, heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well to combine.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically for 20-25 minutes, until the ice cream is thick and creamy.
Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the ice cream is firm.
Serve the banana ice cream cold and enjoy!
Note: You can add mix-ins to the ice cream, such as chocolate chips or chopped nuts, for additional flavor and texture.
