Even if you're in a healthy relationship, it can become very routine. So the ex or the first love can show up to say, let's find a way to bring the passion back. If you're in a dry spell and the first love shows up, it's your subconscious saying, "We want this again."
This dream doesn't necessarily mean you want that person again. But the subconscious has this really cool way of encoding the first time that you ever experience something impactful. Whomever you experience that with becomes the face of it.
Our dreams very often pull things from the past in order to give us a message about the present. So, ask yourself, "What stands out about the ex? What did I learn from that relationship? How can I apply that to right now?"
Snakes can also represent spiritual awakenings because they shed their skin. This can often represent you shedding old beliefs and taking on some kind of new skin, so to speak, a new belief system.
Any dream that involves the mouth, the lips, the teeth, the tongue, or the throat area will usually be a commentary on the way you've been communicating lately. So, if your teeth are falling out and you're trying to get them to stay in or you're trying to put them back in, it's usually because you've said something that you wish you could take back. You've allowed something to fall out of your mouth.
If you have this dream, ask yourself, "What was I thinking when my teeth fell out?" This may represent something you need to fix, or something you need to contend with.
I always say, dreams are messages from you, to you, about you, in order to improve you. So, to figure out the person in your dream, ask yourself, "What stands out to you about this person? Is it a memory you have of them? Is it something about their personality?" Then ask yourself, "How do I see myself in this? How can I identify some part of me with this person?" That will explain why you are dreaming about them.
For example, if you keep dreaming of this kid from third grade, maybe he was the shy kid, who never spoke up, never raised his hand. That could mean: "Are you shy? Or are you being shy right now?"
