* 1 pound ground beef or pork
* 1/2 cup bread crumbs
* 1/4 cup milk
* 1 egg
* 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
* Olive oil

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or pork, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well with your hands.
Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs.
Heat some olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides.
Transfer the meatballs to a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
Serve the meatballs immediately with marinara sauce, if desired.
These traditional meatballs are perfect for spaghetti and meatballs, as a topping for pizza, or as an appetizer. Enjoy!
