    Top Answerer
Why not? If they have the space, the means, and the responsibility of taking care of that chicken and providing for it in such a way that both the person and the chicken are living in a healthy, happy environment, then so be it. It will mean extra clean-up duties and other responsibilities, but otherwise it's not that different from having any other pet. Chickens are smart too, and can be trained to do certain things with enough time and patience.
  • Question
I found a chick at the park and brought it home, where I live in an apartment. How can I find out the chick's age and whether it will live being alone?

Chicks are very social animals, so if you aren't with it a lot or it does not have another chick for companionship, it will get very lonely. You should probably take it to a vet to have them make sure the chick is healthy. You could buy another chick or two for companionship.
