Hi. I’m looking to create a new NFD reason for articles in a different language. {{nfd|lan}} . Right now non-English articles are getting deleted, but not in a way that helps the wiki. Ideally we should be tracking those non-English articles and helping move them to their appropriate languages, rather than just trashing them. I’d like to modify these templates, but I don’t have the technical competence to correctly edit the complex system of our nested NFD templates. Is there any admins here who do? I think you also need admin rights to edit those protected templates. BTW these templates go beyond normal template complexity , they are basically computer programming exercises.
