Looks like it’s off to a great start.
Stubs don’t go away very quickly. It can take a week, months, years, or never at all and be forgotten. Someone has to remove it, but if the article has not been properly expanded, it is likely that someone will put the stub tag back up.

Unfortunately, I don’t know about volunteering in Catholic Churches much. I would research, but I’m a bit busy now, so I can’t. Let me know if you have any further questions anyway. :-/
