It’s because your userpage is on watch. Userpages and talk pages goes together. Normally, your own userpage doesn’t need to be “watched” unless you need to know if there’s a new change to either page. Go into your “My Preferences” and double check the settings for “Email”. See if the bold options are checked… Advanced: Your e-mail address was authenticated on 11:39, July 4, 2011.
