Hello wikiHowians,
I would like to give a shout out to the entire community of wikiHowians who make this site the greatest how-to manual. I joined in November 2012 after seeing my friends use wikiHow. Some of those people used it improperly so I decided to join and start helping out. Almost nine years later, I’m still happy to be part of the community. As someone who is autistic, I have to give credit to wikiHow for making me learn how to do specific things. I used to not respond to messages because I was afraid of talking to people and I regret that now. In fact I like talking to people now, especially those on wikiHow. 16 and a half years ago, @JackHerrick
started this site and now it has grown to be one of the top 500 sites in the world, with hundreds of thousands of how-to articles.
Over my nine years I have met some amazing members, some who are not active anymore, and some who are among the friendliest I have ever met in my life. For example, @Anna
and @JayneG
are simply great staff members. I have met many trolls on other sites and if they were on wikiHow, they would be taken care of very easily. I got tired of dealing with trolls which is why I have been away for about three weeks. But I’m trying to return and become a new article booster soon.
If there was a wikiHow Hall of Fame, people such as @JackHerrick
, @Anna
, Krystle and several others would belong in it.
Thank you wikiHow for being an awesome site. I was supposed to visit the headquarters today but my plans changed which is why I posted this. I will forever love this how-to manual.

wikiHow is absolutely lovely!
@JackHerrick
has started such a beautiful site! I love wikiHow!

Even thought I don’t know about Anna since I’m relatively very new to wikiHow, don’t even talk about @JayneG
! She’s so friendly, I can’t express myself! She can help you with almost any topic about wikiHow. However bad edits someone’s making, she explains that person in a friendly manner. I don’t know how may questions I’ve asked her, probably a ton, but she’s got back to me with a friendly answer. And now I realize many of my questions were quite silly. Honestly, no words to describe (at lease, none I know) except extraordinary.
Could be, such friendliness is normal among wikiHow staff, but Jayne’s efforts must be appreciated.

Not that other’s at wikiHaus aren’t wonderful, though. Every member at wikiHow is great!
Only, I don’t know much about other members of wikiHow staff, other than Jayne, but I know, they’ll too be wonderful.
Keep up the wonderful work everyone! On this beautiful site!

I also love wikiHow. Not just the community, the staff, policies, the efforts into making this how to manual and the way we keep evolving with it.
