“Where Were You When…” is basically similar to “How Old Were You…” but instead it is about where or how you were when something important happened (something serious in the news or an important milestone)
Examples:
Person A:Where were you when the iPhone was invented?
Person B:I was sitting in my room, looking at the news and saw about that great accomplishment!
Person B:How were you feeling when you celebrated your 5th birthday?
Person A:I felt angry because I didn’t get enough presents…
Person C:Where and how were you feeling during the moon landing?
Person D:I wasn’t born yet.

I’ll start: Where were you when you first saw the Russian invasion of Ukraine in the news? (This is pretty recent, so most people were here to see it)I remember that I heard about my family talking about it. I also saw the news on MSN.
I wasn’t sure—I almost never follow the news, so I caught that fact by bits and pieces from my parents. Based on that guess, I was probably in the living room listening to my dad talking.

Most likely in my old home before we moved to our current city. I didn’t even know about Michael Jackson back then, let alone that he died in 2009.

The first ever time I participated in a school activity (probably for a group project) I felt pretty left out. I didn’t know how to speak up at the time (I was in early elementary school), and I didn’t get a role to do something for that project. Bumping is when you comment after 54 days I think. It’s against forum rules. However, we may bump and clarify if the discussion is um I forgot the criteria when we can bump. May be when it is a good discussion that is going somewhere.

Hm I think an old admin Marina once said that unique or useful discussions on General Chat thread may also be bumped. Since those discussions may be helpful. I might be wrong.

YeahAdmins used to keep a good eye on bumping on the forums back then. Now they don’t so much because of being busy etc. There was Marina, Lois, Jeff, Lutherus, Dave and many other including regular watchful editors.

I probably found that out using the internet at around ages 7-8. I don’t really remember how I felt back then, but when I knew that babies came from uteruses, I wasn’t surprised. But, when I found about the other part (the sperm part), I was fine too. Then, I found out how the sperm came in, and I was kind of disgusted…

After my most recent haircut, i found it like a wlcome change.
How did you feel when you slipped or fell down in public for the first time?
I did this way back in elementary/primary school. I slipped while running on the grass in one of my old schools. I don’t remember how I felt exactly, but I felt surprised and slightly embarrassed.
