This is the thread to post videos of your favourite musicians, songs and anything music related :). (just don’t even think about arguing over bands being bad or that people shouldn’t like them. People have different musical tastes so respect that on this thread :P)

Ooh, good idea, Ned.:slight_smile:I’ve been trying to get into more modern music lately, so I’m a Lorde and Lana Del Rey fan. c: The videos are being awkward on my computer right now so I can’t post them, though. :c

LOL thanks. The idea came to me just now when I was watchng Mumford and Sons at Glastonbury:slight_smile:

I’ll kick things off with 3 songs each from my 3 favourite bands:slight_smile:Firstly, Haduken! Levitate http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6XUVjK9W4o Mecha Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vo0Cazxj_yc Bliss Out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqX789CBlSI Now Muse Supermassive Black Hole http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgRiJGEHH8M Unnatural Selection http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgX8eF8glCU Uprising http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QcxcGz1kKo And lastly, Mumford and Sons Dust Bowl Dance http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBOsVEflgOo I Will Wait http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Akjx0w9Lq5U The Cave http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMO4xdOS5jY Enjoy:slight_smile:

I LOVE 1D

I gotta say, Marina and the Diamonds will always be my favorite, especially since I discovered them a lonngg time ago before most:heart:

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift. I have the same voice as Taylor Swift.~Kathleen Gomez

^ I went to Taylor Swift’s concert, and she’s really good live.:slight_smile:When I sing, I think my voice sounds kinda like Taylor Swift, but I probably sound like a dying animal in reality. @Nedifier - I Will Wait is awesome. I haven’t heard many of their other songs though, but I like the banjo parts that they have in I Will Wait and the Cave. @Confusionist - I really love Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful. I heard it in The Great Gatsby and liked it right away. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te11UaHOHMQ What do I like? Hmm… This one is a bit random, but I really love “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line. There is a part of me that really wants to move to Tennessee or Texas or somewhere in the Southern USA, and this song makes that part of me happy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAND37zOC9g I’ve loved “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane for so long. I kind of forgot about it for a while, but then I watched the movie “LOL” and this song was in it and I just fell in love all over again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oextk-If8HQ And you know how iTunes has those Single of the Week things where you can get a free song every week? Sometimes I’ll download them, and I’ve found 3 songs that I absolutely love. I actually feel pretty awesome listening to them because I don’t think they’re that popular (I’m probably wrong…), so I feel like I know about something awesome that other people don’t know about, but I’m sharing them here because I think they deserve to become popular (if they aren’t already). “Sweet Disposition” - The Temper Trap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxKjOOR9sPU “Something Good Can Work” - Two Door Cinema Club: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbWyIDPBRiI “There’s a Light” - Jay Malinowski http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LytlhpiOYK8 Give these ones a listen if you want. I’m interested to see if other people like them as much as I do.(But if not, that’s okay too.)

I LOVE CRUISE

^ It’s a fun one! It just seems like a summer song.

Lana Del Rey has a kinda ethereal voice if you see what I mean. v my favourite LDR song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO1OV5B_JDw (btw, I’d heard Sweet Disposition before and I really love it)

CBA to post videos because I’m on a mobile device. But my favourite songs atm are: - The Way It Used to Be - Mike Posner - One in a Million - Down With Webster - Shiver - Shawn Desman - Love Somebody - Maroon 5 - Woo Boost - Rusko - Bahl Fwd - Skream I’ve been getting into dubstep so if anyone wants to recommend any artists:slight_smile:OH, and you NEED to YouTube Mike Tompkins. He is the best acapella singer I’ve heard!

You gotta check Mumford and Sons out Pink, they’re amazing:smiley:Little bit of trance:smiley: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=73tTL71mbWA

^ My friend went to a Mumford and Sons concert and told me the same thing! I should really listen to them! And yeah, when I YouTubed Sweet Disposition it had about 15 million views, and Something Good Can Work had about 3 million views. There’s a Light is much less popular, with only around 15,000 views.

^ That’s such a good song! Yup, off to listen to more of them.

I really like Love Somebody, especially since it’s a song I can actually relate to… all the songs about being in relationships don’t really work when you’re not in one.:stuck_out_tongue:And I like One in a Million too, really catchy.

Awake my soul or Hopeless wanderer?

At the time I posted, I could only see the Hopeless Wanderer one, so that was the one I was talking about. I refreshed the page and now I can see Awake My Soul too, which I am currently listening to. It’s also very good so far.

Love Somebody is on my iPod:slight_smile:I like that one!
