Changing a hue is a quick and easy way to swap color schemes in an image. After completing these simple steps, you will have the power of hues on your side to totally transform your digital images and art!
Steps
-
1Open MediBang. Load up whatever drawing you want the hue to change. If you don't have something already drawn, draw it now.
-
2Press Ctrl + U on your keyboard to access the hue, brightness, and saturation menu on MediBang. Whatever default hue you already have will always be zero. When we change the hue, the new saved hue will become zero.
- The hue slider is the top bar in the HSB menu.

3Move the slider on the hue bar. It ranges from -180 to 180, with zero as your starting point. Choose a point, wait a moment, and the image will take on a new hue.
- The hue bar works similar to a color wheel. Red fades into orange on one side, and then to yellow. On the other side, it fades into purple, blue, cyan, and so on. Because of this, the two endpoints, -180 and 180 will be almost the same hue.
-
4Keep changing the slider until you have found a hue that you like. Click okay on the HSB menu to save.
- The HSB menu will close after you press okay, but you can open it again with Ctrl + U .
-
5Allow the picture to change its hue. The image itself should retain the hue that you chose, and the navigation window and layers will update as well.Advertisement
