Many people believe they've successfully used ouija boards to get in touch with the "other side." However, there's no scientific evidence ouija boards can actually help you communicate with spirits. The scientific explanation points to the ideomotor effect, meaning that a person's brain unconciously sends signals to the body to move the planchette (or pointer) on the ouija board to provide answers that they unconciously want to receive.
However, just because there's no scientific evidence ouija boards work doesn't mean they definitely don't work! Many people believe they do. So if you want to use one to reach the other side, go for it (and let us know what happens!).

Yes, I believe they are real—and they can be risky. Like tarot cards or pendulums, a Ouija board is just a tool. But the danger I'd note is in how it's used. Essentially, if you use a Ouija board and aren't mindful about it, it's like opening a door for anything—without protection or intention.
I’ve heard many stories where people had unsettling experiences. It’s not necessarily demonic like in horror movies, but it can attract negative energy. I personally don’t use it. If someone would like to use one, my advice would be to use caution and strong intention.

Wiki how is vague if not very vague. Yes I did move the pointer to good bye but I did not say good bye. Did I end this nightmare session or is it still going.
