How can I encourage my child to eat more veggies?
Give your child the opportunity to taste everything. Sometimes you just need to change the texture or taste of a vegetable by changing how you prepare it. You may have to experiment blending them with other foods. Another great hint is if you have your children help you cook, you can make it fun. If they're involved in the activity and they see the fresh ingredient go in and then they see what they made, they may be more willing to try the other stuff.
How can I encourage my child to eat more nutritious foods?
Introduce the foods earlier it's easier to get the children used to it when they're older. For example, if they get used to eating eggs from when they were seven months old, they're more likely to like them later. This applies to other foods, too. Just keep on serving them foods and don't give up.
How do I choose a pediatrician?
There are three main factors. A: Do you like them? Do you like their personality? B: Do you like their philosophy and will they listen to your needs? C: Do they have the time and access to address your needs? What that comes down to the most popular pediatrician is maybe booked out three months and you can't get in to see them, which doesn't do you much good. You can look at online reviews. Talking to like-minded friends and colleagues that are parents and see which pediatrians they liked and if the office has availability. Ask about hours, access at weekends and nights, what their philosophy is with answering phone calls or messages.
