Scorpio (f) here who recently started dating a Leo (m), everything has been GREAT so far and I feel like we're a good match, but people keep telling me Leos and Scorpios aren't very romantically/sexually/emotionally compatible and it has me feeling frustrated and kind of freaked out too, like what's going to happen to us if we keep dating?? Are these signs really not compatible or is this just a lie/not always true?

Ignore what people are saying. This match can really work: Scorpios love to obsess over their partners, and Leos love it when their partners obsess over them. Pay attention to your Leo and send him gifts, show him that you're investing time and resources into him. Text him often and never forget to compliment him on everything. Show up to his events. Make sure he is the center of attention. Dress sexy, make sure your hair is nice: he likes arm candy and likes to be shown off as a sexy partner.

I always joke that if you got two signs in a boxing ring, the top two that will fight to the death are Scorpio and Leo. Scorpio rules over Pluto, so it's misunderstood and an outlier, where Leo is the sun, the center of attention, and very prideful. Both signs are emotionally driven — Leo operates from the heart and Scorpio operates from either fear or desire because it's a subconscious planet, which can lead to big fights.

These two form a square aspect in the zodiac wheel, so they are 90 degrees apart. Since they're both fixed signs, fixed signs are only willing to change if they know that they're going to be put in a better position with the change. They can both have a resistance to change because, “I like the way that I am.” This can translate into everything: feelings, values, ways of communicating.

That said, this tension can create serious sexual compatibility. This can also create a strong power couple relationship if both signs are secure. I always tell Scorpio and Leo that it can definitely work but they'll need to practice setting their egos aside when they communicate to each other.

Fellow Scorpio here and I am right there with you! I'm also in a relationship with a Leo and lemme just say that it's been fiery and passionate :) Scorpios have big personalities and I like Leos a lot because they can math our energy.

I am a Leo female and I adore my Scorpio man. If you are mature and evolved this can be the best partnership of your life for real. You have to let each other be themselves and you have to understand each other and give some space. Both signs need space. I’ve never dated a Scorpio before, but this one is above and beyond what I could have ever imagined in a man and soul. #smitten

Of course it's not always true! The things we "know" about different zodiac signs and their characterisitcs are just generalizations, but each person and relationship will be unique. I'm happy to hear that you and your Leo have been great together so far :) I don't see any reason why you couldn't keep having a great time. Leo and Scorpio both have intense personalities, so they can fall in love hard and fast and create a deep bond with each other. Their big egos can clash sometimes but if they learn to respect each other and hype each other up it works out!
