When you're thinking of things to be grateful for, spend a few minutes thinking about what you appreciate in life. Learn to be present and become curious and observant in life. Be cognizant of your physical surroundings; look around when you walk instead of always putting on headphones. Notice the little wonders that are all around so you don't take anything for granted.

Making a list of what you're grateful for is a great way to become more positive and optimistic. While it depends on your personal experiences, there are many common things that you may be grateful for, such as:
