Who Is Percy Jackson?

Percy Jackson is the hero of the beloved fantasy series Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan. At just 12 years old, Percy discovers he is a demigod—his father is a god. Targeted by monsters, Percy finds safety in Camp Half-Blood, a hidden training facility for demigods in Long Island, New York. It’s here where he makes lifelong friends (and enemies) such as Annabeth Chase and Clarisse La Rue.

With the help of his advisors and best friends Annabeth and Grover, Percy takes on a quest to stop the Titans from destroying the world. He travels through famous landmarks and cities, battling monsters and gods to seek the truth and protect those he loves.

Riordan’s Percy Jackson series continues to grow after its first publication of Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief in 2005. Since then, the series has expanded to 7 books, not including the supplement series The Demigod Files and The Heroes of Olympus .
