You are experiencing a common concern. However, let's reframe this concept: your purpose isn’t something you find "out there". It’s about being present with what life is offering you now. Be open, be kind, and do your best from a loving heart. If you’re constantly searching for meaning, it’s often because you think what you’re doing right now isn’t enough. But the truth is—whatever you’re doing is your purpose in this moment. If you want to do more, great. But don’t approach the concept from a place of lack.

Feeling as if you've lost your purpose can be devastating. It can leave you feeling aimless, cold, and isolated. But your purpose isn't gone—it might have just changed.

We encourage you to investigate your passions in life—your purpose is often tied to the things you enjoy doing, feel you're good at, and feel make a difference in the world. So, what sets your heart on fire? What issues or causes do you feel aligned with? What hobbies or skills do you want to develop? Answering these questions may take some time, and there's no rush. It may take some exploration. Delve into what you're curious about, and keep following your curiosity. Eventually, it's likely to help you rediscover your life's mission.

When you’ve lost your sense of purpose, most importantly, start by dropping any self-judgment—it doesn’t mean something’s wrong with you; it means life is asking you to grow. Start a “want list.” Ask yourself: What do I really want now? Not what I was taught to want, not what looks good on paper, but what feels alive to me today. Your list doesn’t even have to be practical—just honest. Let yourself dream.

Sometimes we just have to start trying new things. You don’t have to have it all figured out at once. Purpose comes through exploration and taking small steps over time. Remember that there’s no correct timeline. You can forge your own unique path. Believe that.
Imagine your best self three years from now: what advice would they give you now? Sometimes our future self can see possibilities your present self can’t.
