A quick tutorial for saving Google Images to your computer

This wikiHow teaches you how to download and save an image from the Google image search, using a desktop internet browser. Images you download will be the same size as the original file.

Steps

  1. Type https://images.google.com into the address bar, and press Enter or Return on your keyboard.
  2. Enter the term you want to search images for, and press Enter or Return on your keyboard. This will list all the matching images.

  3. This will expand the picture details, and show you a larger version of the same image below the thumbnail.
  4. Your right-click options will pop up on a drop-down menu.
  5. This will allow you to download and save the selected image in its original size.
    • Alternatively, you can simply drag the image to your desktop to save it automatically.
  6. Click the folder where you want to save the image in the saving window.
  7. This will download and save the selected image to the selected location on your computer.
