Want to know how a blanket sleeper is folded, so it can easily be put away in the dresser-drawer nicely? This article will tell you how to fold them this way.
Steps
-
Zipper up or re-button the garment from the bottom up to a more-closed position at the top of the garment. Doing so makes the fold hold better when folded correctly, and is less loose when undoing the zipper area later.
-
Flip the blanket sleeper over and lay it flat. You should be seeing the back of the sleeper after it's been turned over.Advertisement
-
Fold the arms so the edges of the arms meet the edges of both sides of the sleeper.
-
Fold both sides of the sleeper inwards, so they meet securely in the middle, but don't overlap the sides. Make sure to only fold it enough so that only the tips of each sides' foot piece is touching one another. Fold the blanket sleeper upwards, until both feet bottoms are pointed downward.
-
Fold up both feet separately, so the anklet of the foot-piece meets the rest of the sleeper.
-
Roll both sides consecutively over in an upward fashion.
-
Repeat rolling the leg/foot folds until the two leg sections meet and until only one full initial portion of fold is established.
-
Fold the top section of the sleeper backwards onto the currently-folded portion, which has been wrapped up now.
-
Flip over the blanket sleeper to see your finished product.Advertisement

Tips
- If the blanket sleeper has a hood, fold the hood inward, in between the folded area and the front portions of the sleeper. Thanks
- If there are any attached garments (such as non-fingered mittens or other items), fold them into the original fold at the first step. Thanks
- Some adult blanket sleepers are two-piece. Although that's not the type this article is about (which features the most-common 1-piece version), if you do have one of these versions, each piece can be folded individually, as pants and shirts would be folded. Thanks
