How can I get rid of my forehead wrinkles?
40F, I've had faint forehead lines for decades but they've really deepened into full-on wrinkles the last few years and I don't love it. Maybe this is a silly question, but is there any way to reverse the wrinkles? Or at least keep them from getting deeper? Thank you!
For dynamic wrinkles, or those that are caused by muscle movements, Botox is a reliable solution. For superficial wrinkles of the skin that appear throughout the face and body, skincare and resurfacing treatments are the primary options for treatment. Skincare involves the use of Vitamin C and Retinoids, and they have the most documented evidence of reducing wrinkle appearance over time.
Treatment modalities such as microneedling and C02 laser are also quick fixes for wrinkles in the fine category but have more immediate downtime. Dermal fillers are great for deep-seated wrinkles and other deep lines on the face.
Preventing wrinles primarily involves avoiding the sun, UV light exposure, and exposure to pollution. Also, avoid over-exaggerating your expressions to reduce the appearance of forehead wrinkles.

If you’ve got deep wrinkles, I’d highly recommend that you go see a dermatologist. A reputable esthetician may even be able to help you out. Regardless, ask whoever you end up seeing about getting chemical peels. Certain chemical peels—especially TCA peels—are really good at treating deeper wrinkles. They’re good for scarring and pigmentation loss, too.
Wrinkles on the face are usually a natural part of aging, so you may not be able to get rid of them entirely. Still, Botox is probably the best treatment option in my experience if you want a more permanent solution. What Botox does is it goes in and it paralyzes that muscle below the wrinkles. That will keep your skin from bunching up whenever you’d make whatever face you’d normally make to get those wrinkles, which will give the lines time to fade away. There are other ways you can also get rid of wrinkles. One of the more proven ways is retinoic acids, which are really good for skin and can help your wrinkles look a lot less intense.
Yep, Botox is your best bet. You could also try microneedling. Besides that, you really want to hydrate your skin with a moisturizing cream. Also, wear sunscreen every single day.
Well, if you can't get rid of 'em, you can try to hide those wrinkles. I asked my stylist for a new haircut with bangs, and now I don't even worry about what my forehead looks like.
