How do you get a strong, sharp jawline?

Hello, everyone. So, I’ve always been a little insecure about my jawline. It sort of blends into my neck and I just don’t think I look very good a lot of the time if I fixate on it. I do fine with dating and stuff, and I think I’m otherwise a pretty attractive person, but my jaw has been bugging me a lot recently. I’d love to have a more chiseled, clean look, but I don’t really know how I could do that. Are there workouts or exercises I can use to improve the shape of my face and strengthen the look of my jawline? What would you do?

Start chewing gum. Seriously. It strengthens the jaw muscles, plus it’s good for your dental health if you get sugar-free gum. You won’t see crazy results overnight, but you’ll slowly begin to get more jaw definition. I’d also recommend changing your diet if you could potentially lose some weight. Reducing your salt intake and eating a healthier diet will help you lose a little weight around your chin, which will increase how much definition you have. Just be patient though, this kind of stuff takes a long time to start working.

There a few exercises you can try! There's some debate about whether or not they work but with some consistency and patience, you could see results. Here's a list:
- exaggerated vowels: make alternating, exaggerated "O" and "E" vowel shapes with your mouth, holding for a few seconds before alternating
- chin curl ups: lay on your back like you would for a curl up, but instead of lifting. your back off the floor, lift just your head so you engage your neck muscles
- jaw juts: imagine you're like a chicken and jut your head out, hold, and pull it back

There are some cosmetic surgeries you can consider! You can try a facelift or necklift, chin augmentation, or neck/jawline liposuction. Some surgeons will offer a consultation that will help you figure out which option is best for you.

I can't imagine risking your life in long-term health over the vanity required to do such a thing. As I'm 60 and still have my hair. Hardly anybody fit simply due to genetics. Easy for me to say. In college I had Aqua marine contact lenses, highlighted hair and bronzer so I think I'm just Full of it and you probably should pay me no attention.... make yourself happy!

The genetic lottery is the only way that I am aware of. I'm sure you have other features that are extremely fine that more than make up for the natural cut of your jib. 😉
