I'm a Virgo, but I'm curious what other people's perception of this zodiac sign are and if they feel accurate to my experience. So, what is your impression of Virgos? In your opinion what traits do you associate with this sign?

My mom is like this. I honestly could say a lot but I'll just say the thing that annoys me the most is that Virgos to me are critical of others, even in an arrogant way but then get very defensive & angry at you for saying anything bad about them, a bully & a victim is a wild combination lol.

In my head, Virgos are like…very extra. I know the stereotype is that they’re detail-oriented and polite, but they can be super gossipy, too. I also know a few Virgos who are so
detail-oriented that they’ll drive you insane. Like, just leave work early to come hang out! You don’t need to get everything on that report perfect. In fact, yeah, “perfectionist” is the word I’d use. That said, I’m super jealous of how Virgos tend to be really motivated. I feel like I could use some of that energy to be a better student. I’ve never met a lazy Virgo, you know?

I'm a scorpio but I've dated a virgo & have 3 virgo brothers. Virgos are easily hurt, like to appear stronger than they are, very judgemental, can dish it but doesn't like to take it. They're tight with money & giving to others without getting anything beneficial out of it practically kills them. They tend to focus on "small" things no one else noticed or cares about. If u invite them on a skydiving trip they'll go...but you'll be jumping by yourself! Lol..they rather watch you go down while they're sitting comfy on the plane thinking you're nuts as they gaze out the cabin window.

We are the sign of service and keeping a nice fresh clean, tidy home is paramount to us. A lot of us work in the health sector.
Some of us are more reserved and hold back, but that doesn't mean we're killjoys or boring!
Having said all that....if you want to go jump out of a plane, feel free while we stay safely on the plane watching .

Yeah, the stereotyle I always hear about Virgos is that they're clean, and in my personal expefrience that seems to be true, my virgo brother is super tidy and kind of a nut about making sure guests keep the house clean, take shoes off, ect. On the other hand, he's not cold or unemotional, he is actually really sweet and open about his feelings. Maybe this is sosmething to do with his moon sign or something, I'm not sure what it is and don't know too much about that

My hubby is a Virgo. He won't do face to face conflicts and has been caught out lying. He is lovable but not in a huggy kissy nature likes cuddles on his terms. Yes he over thinks and never says sorry if proven wrong and is indecisive.

Virgo here. We are total sweethearts, I promise, but we can come off cold and like know-it-alls. Virgos are not emotionally closed off, but they don't always do a good job of expressing their emotions. Since they're air signs they're very intellectual and motivated by interesting ideas and the pursuit of knowledge. They gravitate to people who are creative and intelligent. Virgos are innovative and solutions-oriented, they like to fix things and may spend more time/energy on figuring out a solution to your problem than just listening to you vent, which can maybe get annoying but their heart is in the right place!

We Virgos come across as distant and cold , detail oriented very observant and selective, quite introspective but if only people could see the wars we constantly fight by overthinking everything and how we are crumbling inside and are not able to express our feelings.

Their most noticible traits with every Virgo in my life and there are several, is that they are so disorganized but think they aren't. They have a wonderful quirky sense of humor and quick comebacks for everything. They are very caring and independent. You have to force your help on them, and also they can't let go of details and move on. I am a Capricorn.

We are perfectionist and usually do things by the book. 📕. We try a much as possible to observe the human laws and nature’s laws. As a youngsters we may have gone through abuse and bullying because of our stoic nature. As adults 👨 our behavior changes and we tend to be more defensive and aggressive at times. I am a Virgo woman, I have been reading the comments, I identify with many and with some not at all, I consider myself a good person, empathetic, not at all envious and I am happy when people do well, not a gossip and therefore I do not like that they mess with me, lonely, I love being with myself, I have fun, I am happy, observant, intuitive, practical and knows how to value a friendship, loyal, kind and when in a relationship, passionate, romantic, reserved and a little shy, When he trusts, he opens fully and lets himself go. I have lots of 'Virgo karma', my mom, an ex girl, ex co worker, & ex music partner were Virgos. I find them very difficult because they're critical of others & somewhat arrogant, but then get very defensive (and then mad at you) when you say anything about them, they dish it but can't take it, both a bully & a victim lol, difficult combination.

Since, I'm also a Virgo then I can say, Virgos mostly are deeply loyal and caring. They usually are practical and detail-oriented perfectionists with a strong sense of responsibility.

Sometimes, a lot of times, virgos settle in relationships they're unhappy in and although they won't verbalize it, their actions will show it. It's unfair but they're such people pleasers and can be so loyal, a situation like yours can be very possible. He probably lost attraction to you long ago but felt a loyalty to you and stayed even though he was absolutely miserable. They don't realize they're hurting people more than they're helping them when they do this.

He spent our marriage doing everything for everyone but me and criticizing and nitpicking everything I was forced to do without his help. Hello, virgo man here. We do realize we hurt people by being critical, we do not know how to apologize sometimes but that's why we are mostly hard on ourselves than we are on anyone else. I think you're taking it the wrong way though because we're just being brutally honest and not sugarcoating when we're critical. Each sign has flaws and looks to me that virgos rubbed off on you the fact that you're doing exactly what we do which is where you're being critically towards us, lol. But we are what God made us to be, maybe you just can't handle a virgo js. We're detail oriented, do act of services, analytical, intelligent and sensitive, problem solvers and perfectionists but not at all perfect. We may attend to know it all but we are still people and we do love and care for others. Say what are your flaws since we're so bad and your acting like your sign is so perfect, once again did we rub off on you, lol?
