Steps

  1. You will notice a search field in the left hand corner. Here you can look for a title or author name. In this case, we will look for Jane Austen. Click on the 'Go' button.
  2. You can see all of the books that are listed by this author. When you find the book you want, click on the title.

  3. Depending on the size of your target book this may take some time. Take note of the file name, since it may not be the same as the title of your book.
  4. If the file name is bugging you, this is the perfect time to rename it to something more recognizable.
  5. Then you can drag in the file from your hard drive into the Kindle documents folder. Once the file is there, your book is loaded. You can eject your Kindle and enjoy your read.
