So, a good backlink comes from a website with high domain authority, such as Forbes or even wikiHow. This has a big impact on your website's credibility and search engine ranking. On the other hand, a bad backlink comes from a site with low domain authority that's full of ads or affiliate links, or a newly created website. This gives little or no help to your site's SEO. High-quality backlinks tell search engines that your content is trustworthy and authoritative. Poor-quality backlinks don't improve your site's reputation and can even hurt your SEO efforts if they seem manipulative or spammy. Other examples of a good backlinks are government sites like CDC or academic institutions like Harvard.
