    Expert Answer
You may not have experience in a specific job, but you probably have strengths related to the required skills for that job. For example, you may have never performed a stand-up comedy skit, but you may have a good sense of humor, the ability to tell a joke, or good writing skills. If you focus on your strengths instead of your experience, you'll have a much easier time building your confidence.

No, all jobs do not require resumes and cover letters. People who own their own businesses sometimes have an abbreviated new hire screening process. You get some jobs because you're in the right place at the right time, you know somebody, etc. Sometimes there's not even an interview process, you just get hired because of an impression that you made on someone. You can certainly try calling around to local businesses and asking them about their hiring policies over the phone.
