    Expert Answer
When you choose a self-defense instructor, the first thing you need to think about is what is the experience of the instructor, what is the system that he is teaching, and what is the experience and the method. When someone is not disclosing their experience, what they've done, who certified them, how many years they've been in the field, etcetera, then it's a big question mark. Find a system that is legit.
