    Expert Answer
Your destiny and fate are things that are going to happen no matter what. Your path is full of events that will happen regardless of your choices, but you can still work to find your life's purpose and find peace within that.
  • Question
I have been finding it difficult to really know my gifts and talents. How can I move forward?
    Community Answer
Do and try everything, within your own morals and philosophies, and never say, "Oh, I wouldn't like doing that" or "Oh, I can't do that". Those kinds of thoughts only lead to failure and stagnation. Keep a very open mind about all things, big and small (within reason, of course), and you will slowly but surely find new insights about yourself and your many talents.
  • Question
What if I don't have any talents according to the definition here? I have skills I'm passionate about, but I needed training for all of them.
    Community Answer
Then you have a talent for learning and acquiring new skills, and that's a great talent. Just keep pursuing the things you find most interesting and your purpose will become clear to you, if it isn't already.
  • Question
If I find out that my purpose is to be a leader, but I don't like to talk in public, what should I do?
    Community Answer
You don't have to speak in public to be a leader. You can be a leader through your actions. If speaking in public is something you want to learn to do, then you should work on it.

There are many things that need doing in the world that don't need any special skills or talents. For example, say hi to people, ask how they're doing, and really listen. Identify people who are doing good things and ask if you can help. By doing valuable things you will learn. Take a bit of time out of every day to learn something that's very important to you. You'll see after a few months the knowledge will start to add up and surprise you.
  • Question
I had some talents and resources but don't know my dream destiny, so how do I go about it?
    Benjamin M.
    Top Answerer
Focus on doing things because they're the right thing to do. Be open to any opportunity to do something valuable. You'll either find something that really speaks to you, or else simply do a lot of great things. Either way the world will be better. Overall, don't worry so much about your "destiny". A person can plan all they want but we really don't know where things are heading, so there's no need to worry about it.
  • Question
How do l know specifically what l'm really born to do?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
Life may be a lot easier if you follow certain expectations, but when it comes down to it, you don't have to do anything but live and die. And since dying is certain to happen at the end of your life, until then, you are free to live your life any which way you very well want. Sure, do a few musts while you're alive anyway, like get an education; if nothing else, it fills your days and opens up many choices. But you are free to choose what you want. Not everything is easy, but few things are truly impossible.
