    Use the Santa hat model to help you, remember to draw the lines from the outside number to each of the inside bracket numbers to create the Santa hat. For example: 4(2a+6) You would times the 4 by 2a to get 8a. Which is one part of the Santa hat. Then do 4 times the 6 which is 24. Then put the two answers together to get the equation 8a+24.

    Yes, very! It cannot be correct if it's not between 0 and 9! do the equation with 10 and end it with 11; the answer is 136. That is wrong. That's why you should only use the numbers between 0 and 9.

    Why should we use any numbers between 0-9 to think so that they get it right when someone does this trick to us ?

    We should use any number between 0-9 because if you use different numbers (11, 19,100, etc) the answer would be incorrect. For example, 10+10=20. 20+5=25. 25x5=125. 11+125=136. That doesn't sound right, does it? And another tip, it has to be a non-digit number.
