I have heard from the wife of a gardener that in order to avoid mosquito bites, he has some marmite every day. Have there been any tests about this as I suffer from these bites on holiday.
    Patrick Divorne
    Community Answer
Marmite has a lot of vitamin B1 (Tiamin) and the mosquitoes hate that. But you need to start eating Marmite (or Cenovit) at least 15 days before being your holidays. No studies have been made with Marmite but just with B1 though, so you need to take that into account.
