  • Question
If I'm a girl, can I still call myself a Brony? I like it better than Pegasister.
    Garrett
    Top Answerer
Sure. It is the Brony fandom, after all. Brony is typically considered an all-inclusive term in the community; Pegasister is not strictly for all girls. Some girls and women just prefer to be called Pegasister over Brony, as some people associate the word Brony with men.
  • Question
I want to watch My Little Pony, but I am too embarrassed and worry my brothers will criticize. What should I do?
    Garrett
    Top Answerer
That's a fairly common fear to have, but the only direct way to deal with it is to go ahead and do what you want. Your brothers may poke fun at you, but they should still love you. Who knows, if you ask, they may even sit down and watch it with you and end up enjoying it.
  • Question
Can i be a brony if I feel sexually attracted to rainbow dash?
    Garrett
    Top Answerer
You may not want to go announcing that to everyone you meet, but that certainly doesn't prohibit you.
  • Question
I found out about that Brony guy who did inappropriate stuff, and I'm worried if my parents find out, they won't want me to be a Brony anymore, even though it was just a one-off. What do I do?
    Garrett
    Top Answerer
A sad fact of life is no fandom is perfect. Not all Bronies are good people. A fandom dedicated to promoting creativity and camaraderie is a good place for sick people to hide and take advantage of others. However, you and your parents can take solace in the knowledge that the Brony fandom is largely united in actively weeding out these people, even if in some cases they are considerably popular and influential. No one who acts so insidiously lasts long in the herd.
  • Question
Can I be a Brony if I'm 10, and how do I meet Bronies online?
    Garrett
    Top Answerer
Sure you can. However, you must exercise caution online. Do not give out personal information such as your name, age, and where you live. Most Brony websites and forums require you to be a minimum of 13 years old to register (it's okay to lie about that. Many people do. Just remember that disclosing your age on those sites can get you temporarily blocked). Keep in mind that many Bronies are young adults, too. The safest places online for you to socialize would be Equestria Daily or My Little Pony Forums.
  • Question
What should I do when the show ends? I been watching this show since I was 3.
    Garrett
    Top Answerer
Go about your life. All things must come to an end. It may be hard if the show has been a huge influence on your life, but that doesn't mean that you can't appreciate it as time goes on. There will still be fan communities up and running after the show ends. Stick around for the next generation of the franchise, which is already in development.
  • Question
Should I stop liking MLP for my crush?
    Garrett
    Top Answerer
If your crush doesn't like MLP, that's fine. No one should expect a partner to share all the same interests. But anyone who dictates what a partner should and should not enjoy is not a person worth being with.
