Empathy is also a great skill to have, since it builds authenticity and positive rapport with customers who may be upset, frustrated or worried. Last, but not least, you will need flexibility and problem-solving skills. Your ability to reason in the moment and act on your own ideas will be enhanced with increased autonomy on the job.
