As a rule of thumb, wood from orchard trees (apple, pear, plum, cherry) is fine for rabbits to chew on. Wood from apricot and peach trees is potentially toxic while growing on the tree, but once cut off and left to dry for about one month, it is then safe for rabbits to gnaw on.
